We hope that all Explorers had a great Thanksgiving Break. It was much deserved and I hope time was well spent among family. I also personally want to thank all Explorers and their families for the amazing support of our high school football team during our playoff run. Though it was an ending we did not anticipate, the community and school support was better than any in the state. Thank you again.
The 1st Trimester MAD (Make A Difference) Projects were outstanding and I did not think they would be topped. We donated several Pillow Pets and cards to the Children's Hospitals, sponsored Breast Cancer Awareness Day in October, and created America's largest TOLERANCE poster that is hanging in the East Gym. However, as we approach the Winter Break and Holiday Season, we have taken on another great 2nd Trimester MAD Project. With the leadership of Mrs. Pingatore, we have chosen to assist four families in Hamilton County for the holidays. Through the organization of Good Samaritan Network, we have the work of raising money in which will then be spent on the wish lists of these families. We would appreciate any donations as they can be given to all iROCK teachers in the mornings or we are selling hands for our giant tree at lunch for 50 cents each. We look forward to wrapping the gifts and delivering them to the families before Winter Break begins.
Thankful to have such a great team of students and co-teachers during this time of year. Special group.
